This process is used when a fastener is not
obtainable for the application. A longer fastener can be cut and
chamfered to a specified length. This is effective where fast
delivery is required. Angular specifications are available or
a form can be machined on either end of any metric or standard
fastener. Threaded rod or bar stock can also be cut and chamfered
to a specified length. Contract quantities range from a 50 piece
minimum to 25,000.
